FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL
Before launching Framework in 2016, I spent nearly 30 years doing many of the things equally seasoned and experienced executives have done. I applied consumer insight and marketplace context to develop sound strategies; I fostered mutually beneficial partnerships; I led and managed teams; I helped build businesses and brands; I attended thousands of meetings and wrote hundreds of presentations.
I spent the first 14 years of my career in advertising where I learned and refined account management, client service, brand strategy, and business development skills. I worked in multiple categories including consumer packaged goods, beverages, healthcare, and financial services where I came to appreciate the dynamics and nuances of different industries.
I spent the next 14 years at Ralph Lauren where I held a number of positions across advertising; wholesale marketing, partnerships and e-commerce; and business development before becoming Chief of Staff to the President & COO. In that role, I gained broad exposure to all aspects of a remarkable and respected company’s business, strategy, operating model, culture, and challenges; and what I learned accelerated my understanding of organizational and process design, refined my views on the development of leaders and teams, and further informed my perspective on the importance of clear, compelling internal and external messages.
When I decided to start a new professional chapter, I asked myself what I did best and found most fulfilling over all my years in corporate environments. The answer was a combination of three things: Structuring organizations, leading and developing teams, crafting and refining communications.
So I created Framework, where I feel energized by the intellectual stimulation of sorting, solving and saying something for a broad range of leaders and companies.
